My wife, Shari, and I have lived in Hayward since 1980.  We owned and operated funeral homes in Hayward and Spooner until 1997 when we had the opportunity to make a change in lifestyle.   Woodland Developments & Realty was started in 1999 in our home on Grindstone Lake.  In 2003, the need for an office in town prompted the development of the Woodland Court office complex, on Railroad Street next to Perkins.  Our personal service to families through the funeral homes and my community involvement laid the groundwork that has carried over into my current real estate career.  I am blessed to have wonderful clients and customers who I truly consider friends.

My experiences as an owner of several different businesses, work in corporate development and acquisitions as well as real estate development and sales gives me added knowledge and expertise in business and commercial real estate.

Amanda Mavis is my Licensed Personal Assistant. She obtained her real estate license in 2005 to better assist our growing needs. She helps manage the day to day operations, client and customer care and takes the lead in all of the marketing and advertising for our property listings. Amanda is available as my representative to show, list and sell properties as well as answer any questions you may have.  We enjoy working as a team and feel that our combined knowledge, expertise and experience greatly benefits both buyers and sellers.
